Electromagnetic world

Electromagnetic fields exist all around us in nature. We may not be able to see them but they're there. We are, in fact, electromagnetic beings living in an invisible rainbow of frequencies. Creatures and plants of all kinds react to these fields: birds and bees use the earth’s electromagnetic fields to navigate, the earth resonates at around 7.83Hz and our brain waves resonate around the same frequency.

We have evolved with these natural frequencies. We are immersed in them. We need them.

However, in the last hundred years humans have experimented with and introduced an increasing amount of unnatural electromagnetic fields and that's where problems have started to arise.

What are EMFs?

EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields) are fields of energy created by electrically charged particles, which come from natural and unnatural sources.

Electricity is everywhere in nature. However, with our ever-increasing technological advancements, our exposure to unnatural human-made EMFs has increased exponentially and our environment is becoming saturated with these negative frequencies. It's easy to assume that because we can't see them that they’re not harmful, but, unfortunately, that's not the case.

The UK, like much of the world, follows ICNIRP's (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) guidelines, however they are only concerned about whether EMFs cause heating to tissue. Where as, there are thousands of peer-reviewed studies showing negative health effects to humans, animals and the environment at exposure levels many times below these guidelines which don’t cause any heating effect to tissue.

There are four main types of human-made EMFs and all are known to be damaging to health.

They are:

  • The Bioiniative Report is the culmination of the work of 29 independent scientists and health experts from around the world. The report, based on their findings, show serious health concerns about exposure to electromagnetic fields. Amongst these concerns includes effecting immune function, weakening the blood-brain barrier and leading to various cancers including brain tumours and childhood leukaemia.
