For buying a house or finding a rental
Imagine signing on the dotted line only to find out there’s unfixable EMF exposure
There are many things to look out for when house hunting, such as signs of damp, cracks in the walls and problems with the roof. These are all visible and so it’s easy to make an informed decision on whether or not to proceed, but with EMFs it’s not that straightforward. Being invisible, you may have found what you think is your dream home but there could be strong magnetic fields coming from the local power lines running along the street that could jeopardise your long term health. The trouble is you have no way of knowing unless you go searching for them.
That’s where I can help.
If you’ve found somewhere to live but want to make sure it’s going to be a healthy environment for you and your family, then I can check the property for EMF exposure before you commit. The vast majority of homes nowadays are exposed to EMF radiation and it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. It all depends on the type of radiation and the readings.
My aim is for you to be able to come to an informed decision on whether to start packing boxes or continue with your search.
Pre-commitment inspection involves:
Measuring the property for low frequency magnetic fields. I will walk the boundaries of the property, around the garden and the house itself.
If possible to gain access to the property I will also take measurements inside, too. Based on my findings I will be able to help you decide if it’s a property worth your investment.
I will also take measurements for radio frequency radiation outside but also inside, especially in the bedrooms, to determine the exposure there.
I will then give you advice on what measures you could put in place, if you were to go ahead with the property.
With many considerations to be made when choosing where to live, finding your dream home can be challenging! So, let me help by putting your mind at rest about EMF exposure so you can focus on all the rest.
